This Was Discovered in the Middle of the Egyptian Desert...And It’s Stranger Than You Could Imagine.

GOOGLE MAPS VIEW

Have you ever imagined and old cinema in the middle of the desert? How about the Sinai Desert in Egypt? The Sinai desert is not just any desert. For those who are geographically challenged, this desert is in Egypt and about 23,000 sq mi.

Apparently a photographer from France gathered up some money, after visiting Cairo, to buy original old seats and projection equipment from an old cinema theater. Then once he returned to Sinai, he arranged a generator for electricity and a monstrous tractor to put up the screen. As enthusiastic as this sounds, Egyptian authorities were not at all welcoming to the idea from the French photographer.

IT’S SO STRANGE TO LOOK, CHECK OUT THE PICTURES BELOW

You’d think the premiere would be the coolest thing but it turns out their electric generator was sabotaged and no movies ever played at this poor cinema in the middle of the desert.
