Artist Creates A Tank That Delivers Free Books
An artist in Argentina, Raul Lemesoff converted a 1979 Ford Falcon to give it a tank-like look by equipping it with a non-functioning front and a swiveling turret. He created a space in the vehicle to store around 900 books and drove the tank through the streets of Buenos Aires handing out those books to pedestrians.
He satirically calls the vehicle ‘Weapon-Of-Mass-Instruction’ (Arma de Instruccion Masiva) and says that his mission is to fight the enemy of ignore and the spreading of knowledge. He also admits jokingly that his mission is a very dangerous one. In a video, while talking about his project he says, ““I attack people in a very nice and fun way” and I admit that he sure does!
While handing out the books, he makes them promise that they will read it.
The artist is a mysterious and famous for coming up with crazy ideas according to his friends.He and his project were captured recently in a video made by 7UP for a campaign called #FeelsGoodtoBeYou. Check out the video here:
