Inner core of the Earth weirder than we thought

There's still a lot about the very Earth beneath our feet that we don't know for sure, or don't at all understand. Findings like this (whether they turn out to be supported or not,) suggest that there's a lot left to learn about the inner workings of the Earth. Exciting!
