This is serving as a sign that there is a major shift in public awareness and understanding of marijuana as a medicine.

Some how found an effective replacement for prescription stimulants like Adderall, with marijuana. Sativas strains, rather than indicas, have been proven to effectively treat ADHD and ADD.
4. AMBIEN (SLEEP AIDS)
One of the most obviously and notorious uses of marijuana has been to treat sleeping problems. This is one of the most common applications, according to numerous studies as well as common anecdotal reports. This replaces drugs such as Ambien.

It might not be a fit for everyone, but most who use marijuana report its anti-depressant effects. Medical marijuana has far less serious side effects than prescription anti-depressants.
