In the 21st century, the adoption of technology has completely revolutionized the way we connect and meet each other, especially when it comes to dating. According to a recent study, the number one fear that men have about online dating is that their date will turn out to be plus-size, while women who use online dating are afraid of meeting a serial killer.

This shocking study prompted the people behind the male-centric dating website, Simple Pickup, to conduct a social experiment to find out what happens when a Tinder match is completely different in person than their online profile.

Simple Pickup’s official video description states that, “Tinder is one of the most popular apps on the market. So we wanted to find out what happens when a girl dresses up in a fat suit and goes on a Tinder date.”

Jesse and Kong enlisted the help of their female friend, Sarah, to set up a few dates with her Tinder profile. Their aim was to record how men would react when their Tinder date turned out to be slightly heavier than what her profile suggests.
