4 Steps to Manifest an Easier Life for Yourself
Before I learned about the Law of Attraction, I wondered what it would be like to have an easier life. At the time, life for me was challenging and extremely stressful. This isn’t to say I had a harder life than anyone else, because I’m certain that many other people have had it worse, but it definitely felt overwhelming to me.
I worked unbelievably hard and pretty much every single day felt like a grind. I dragged myself out of bed every morning and at night I came home completely drained and exhausted. Like many people today, I was living for the weekend, and if it wasn’t Friday night or Saturday, the weight of the world really got to me. Even Sundays stressed me out as I’d spend a lot of the day anticipating the upcoming week of work.
As I started to understand the principles of the Law of Attraction, I started to try to use my thoughts and actions to manifest an easier life for myself. As a result of the adjustments I made, today my life is much calmer, more relaxed and exponentially more enjoyable than it used to be. Looking back, I can’t believe I was able to manage the stress I dealt with!
Here are a few ways that I have used the Law of Attraction to manifest an easier life for myself. If you feel that your life has become a grind, try out a few of these strategies and see how they work for you!
Tips for an Easier Life
1. Stop working so hard, and add in some fun:
This one might take some getting used to for people who pride themselves as being “hard workers” but in order to have an easier life you really must stop working so hard. The harder you work, and the more you pat yourself on the back for being a hard worker, the more hard work will be drawn your way via the Law of Attraction. It’s a vicious cycle.
Therefore, when you feel like you’re fighting an uphill battle, it’s wise to stop and take a break. If people ask you to do something that seems like too much work, say no, or negotiate a more comfortable arrangement. Get into the habit of not working so hard and your work will become easier. Give yourself permission to take it easy.
Additionally, add some fun to your work whenever you can! Listen to your favorite music when you mop the floors. Take the scenic route to work. Start to have a little fun and you will attract more enjoyment to you work.
Believe it or not, it is possible to enjoy doing your chores, running your errands and going to appointments. Reduce effort and add fun and you will attract ease and enjoyment. It’s really that simple.
2. Be willing to do things differently:
I used to freak out a lot because I was very concerned about doing things the “right way.” I preordained how I was supposed to accomplish tasks and then I would insist that things go in the order I had set for myself.
For example, I was always in the habit of waking at the same time every morning, taking a shower at the same time every day, and responding to all of my emails first thing in the morning when I got to work. If something interrupted my schedule I would get very frustrated and begin to work faster and harder in an attempt to get things back on track. As a result, over time I attracted more obstacles and chaos to my daily routine.
This was a flawed strategy on my part because when things aren’t going your way, it’s a sign that you aren’t going with the flow. So when you feel like you’re swimming upstream, it’s best to stop what you’re doing and let the universe take over and pull you back into the flow. Sometimes the easiest and most enjoyable way to do something is in a manner that you’ve never before considered.
Now, when interruptions occur, I try to see them as possible detours that might save me time or make life easier. I’m now willing to do my grocery shopping any day of the week, move my morning workout to the afternoon or even take the day off of work. As a result, my life has become more flexible, and my work gets completed in an easier and more enjoyable way. For example, I’m now more likely to show up at the grocery store when it isn’t busy, when the produce is ripe and when the deals are good.
I used to worry that if I deviated from my schedule the things I needed to do wouldn’t get done. However, what has really happened is that the quality and speed of my work has drastically improved. Moving with the flow is much faster and more fun than moving against it.
3. Take time every day to calm and center yourself:
When life is stressful, many of us suffer from racing thoughts. We worry obsessively and we think of all of the things that can go wrong. Unfortunately, negative, racing thoughts invite more negative and chaotic events into our lives.
Learn how to clear racing thoughts by meditating daily, doing yoga or practicing breathing exercises when you feel stress coming on. The clearer your thoughts, the less anxiety and stress you will attract to yourself. Additionally, the more you practice the art of relaxing, the more relaxing circumstances will be attracted into your life.
4. Start asking for the universe to “fix” your problems:
Racing around the house in a panic because you can’t find your favorite piece of jewelry? Stressing out because you’re running late to an important event? When you feel yourself becoming frantic, stop! You will never fix a problem from a frantic state.
Instead, pause for a moment and ask for help. Ask the universe to bring you your jewelry or help you get to the event when you want to be there. Ask for help, then let go of your need to control the outcome and go back to moving through your day in a calm and collected manner.
If you can ask for help and then let go, the universe will solve your problem for you without you having to do anything. Your jewelry will pop up randomly without having to look for it, and you will magically end up showing up to the event at the perfect time.
I use this strategy a lot now, and it has cut a ton of the anxiety out of my life. When I feel myself panicking or racing around, I try now to simply surrender my problem to the universe and then drop the subject.
This strategy may take a little practice if you are in the habit of worrying a bunch, so try it out first with small concerns to build confidence in the universe’s ability to solve your problems.
These four strategies can help you unwind from the “work hard” mentality. It may take a while for you to fully integrate these principles into your life, but fortunately with even a little bit of practice you will start to see positive results. As you see evidence that you are creating an easier life, you will develop more faith in the process.
The moral of the story is, if you want to have an easier life you will want to begin to think and act in a calmer and easier manner. You will want to give up the desire to fight to get where you want to be, and you will want to surrender your worries and concerns to the universe. Just take it easy, and life will naturally become easier.
Always remember, this is your life, and you get to decide how you travel through it. You deserve to go with the flow and enjoy the ride!
